ABOUT THE PROJECT
Octane recruitment are one of the country’s leading specialist automotive recruitment agencies. Historically they have posted their vacancies on a range of specialist vacancy boards and sites popular within the recruitment sector. Keen to break out of this standard/template approach they sought to increase their own brand awareness and visibility by posting their vacancies on their own site. with the aim being to increase their own site traffic and direct engagement both with their clients and candidates for vacancies.
A simple but effective design was selected. Based on functionality and ease-of-use. One key requirement was that candidate should be able to quickly navigate to the relevant sector that they were interested in and then quickly view vacancies that were of interest to them. Other site content was also included, including details about octane, its principles and methods of working and a comprehensive advice section for candidates and employers alike.
SOPHISTICATED GEOGRAPHICAL SEARCH TOOL
The ability to search not just by sector but also by geographical location was seen as a key element. C8o Digital were able to secure a range of sophisticated tools and plug-ins that allowed jobs to be posted relevant to sector, salary and skill set and above all allow the user to search geographically based on a radius from thier preferred location. the results were nothing short of spectacular. with vacancies being visible fully interactive map view.
The simple posting of jobs on the site has dramatically increased octane’s visibility to UK and global search engines. A targeted outreach marketing campaign is further increased website traffic, keyword ranking and domain authority to unprecedented levels. This policy is to be continued and as more content is added it is expected that increases in all these performance indicators will continue to rise as more content and vacancies are added.
